This is not a cliché issue, at all, since this work of God of making great things with small things also begins with us, of how God has demonstrated His greatness by transforming us and making us new creatures. Glory we give to God because He is not a God who discards the small, but from the small he does great and powerful things.

This quoete is a truth to which we must pay close attention and we will understand its magnificent meaning through the following biblical story:
John chapter six tells us the story that Jesus was followed by a large crowd, which had followed him early on hearing His words and seeing His great miracles. This crowd was already exhausted, and they were obviously hungry. They were in a deserted part, which means there was nowhere to buy or fish.
In this story it is also important to see how Jesus cares for His people. Jesus asked Philip: Where will we buy bread to eat these? There were about five thousand people without counting women and children. The Bible tells us that Jesus wanted to prove Philip, since beforehand he already knew the great miracle He would do in that place.
It was simply impossible for Philip to be able to support such a large crowd in the desert, and this, knowing that Jesus was powerful to work miracles. The same happens to us, we know that Jesus is powerful, but in the middle of some adverse situation we forget that He is really powerful.
Let’s see what happens next:
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,
9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
John 6:8-9
To sincerity we do not know if this was a joke from Andrew, since we are talking about more than five thousand people, but to the surprise of everyone and you who are reading now, for Jesus this represented what He would do, the great miracle of multiplication. Note that there were only five loaves of barley (barley was the worst of the worst) and only two “little fish”, that is, that child had barley and two very small fish for more than five thousand people. What would you do with that? In our hands it certainly represents nothing, but in Jesus’ hands it represents a lot:
And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
John 6:11
Great miracle this! My brothers, Jesus is really powerful, do not hesitate, there are things that for us have no value and we cannot do anything with them, but in the hands of God everything changes. He is really powerful.
