In your Presence there is fullness of joy

There will always be fullness of joy in our Lord, every time we approach Him, as long as we leave everything to be in that beautiful Presence that will give us peace.

If we turn away from Him, when the grace of our God departs, there will be no joy, only regrets, difficulties, and you will think that nothing can be fixed.

That is why in the book of Psalms we find these words so encouraging about this magnificent joy, of this fullness in His presence that allows us to stand every day regardless of all the obstacles that arise. God will always be there offering us support and giving us new strength.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 16:11

Not only in the psalms does David express himself in this way, but in different passages of the Bible he speaks of the greatness and faithfulness of God to all of us. If you look, in verse 1 of chapter 16 of Psalms we see David’s expression toward God: Keep me, O God, because I have trusted in you. The psalmist was depositing everything before the Lord, and this is a word of wisdom. God is our livelihood and the central base of our lives.

All we are is for God, what we have and even what we are going to have is for God. That is why we must give thanks as well as this man who never stopped giving all the exaltation to God.

2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;

3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

Psalm 16:2-3

We must fully believe in God, because only God will show us the way, that if it is dark He will illuminate us with His light, and we will be saved by Him. God is the only one who can straighten our way, so King David put everything before God since he knew that he could fully trust the great and strong God.
