It is very true that we are sinners, people who live in a world where such things are practiced are not pleasing to God, but we as believers know that our God is faithful and true, because we repent before Him to be forgiven and restored .
If we are alive it is because God has had immense mercy for each one of us, His mercy takes care of us, guides us and shows us the way in which we must walk.
He is a God who loves us so much that He gave Himself to bring us freedom, to give us salvation and to know His great love. This is good and sublime God, kind.
Let’s see what His word tells us about God’s mercy toward us.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
Here he talks about His mercy. The author of this book is telling us that if we approach God confidently, we will be able to achieve mercy, find grace and be helped by God in any difficulty that arises.
Let us get closer to God every day, if we are not walking on the path of His salvation, let us begin to walk, because only in Him will we find mercy, love, peace, shelter and help. God will dwell in the places where we are, His grace will dwell all around us.
Let us be obedient above all, follow the right path, God is our shelter and as His word says in the biblical quotation we have just placed, that in Him we will find grace and sustenance and He will come in our help to defend us and help us in our difficulties.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
