Our joy comes from the Lord

Our joy only comes from God who knows every spiritual and physical need in us, only He is the one who can sustain us in any circumstance.

Every day we must believe in the Lord, that He will help us, in sadness and discouragement we can raise our hands and give thanks to God.

Remember that our sadness and crying will not be forever, God has control. He will not fail us, nor forsake us, the Holy Spirit will always be our comfort.

In moments of difficulty, go to your room and pray to God, He will answer and strengthen you, your spirit will be renewed, your heart will be restored. God will change your lament in dance.

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 118:24

This biblical verse brings us words of encouragement of life, of peace, telling us that this is the day our Lord made, so we enjoy ourselves.

Every day we live joyful and joyful before God, that nothing that is around us will extinguish the joy that was sent by the Lord into our lives.

In Psalm 118 we can observe that in reality this people of Israel were to give sacrifice of honor and praise to the Lord, because God had brought salvation to their lives. That is why they should rejoice in the Lord and pronounce words, expressing that they should rejoice in the Lord on this glorious day created by Him.

25 Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

27 God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

29 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 118:25-29

In the previous verses we can also see that this people prayed to God for their salvation, and gave glory and exalted the name of God.

It is important that just as God can give us joy, because with that same joy, we can worship God, thanking Him for all that He does and will continue to do for us.
