Jesus Christ is with us, He is the one who sustains us and helps us in difficult times.
We are victors because we have God, because only with Him can we overcome. The enemy is always attentive to send us darts and to find a way to deviate from the path of our Lord Jesus.
Recall the case of the psalmist David, when he was in the wars. God sustained and helped him, He brought down all his adversaries, those who wanted to destroy the king that God had placed in Israel.
In the letter to the Romans we find a very important verse, a promise from God to each one of us, where he tells us why we are more than conquerors:
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans 8:37
Verse 28 of chapter 8 of Romans begins this theme by saying that “to all who love God, all things help them well.” That is to say that even in bad times, you are more than a conqueror in the Lord.
As a church of Christ we will go through many difficulties, but can this stop us? Do not be surprised because if Christ had a hard time bringing the good news, what else will happen to us? We will also be discarded otherwise.
So, for all these things we are more than conquerors in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us not be surprised, since these things have to happen, it is better to look at the One who called us and washed us with His blood, the One who gave us hope so that we can continue to overcome in His name.
We create every day in this promise that day is fulfilled and that is real. God does not lie, do not look at difficulties, look only at the One who can help you be more than a conqueror in His holy and true name.
