It is important that every day we are mindful of what we say and even what we think. God is always present and only He knows our thoughts, so it is good that we ask God daily to preserve our thoughts.
If our eyes and thoughts are placed in God’s hands, then it becomes very difficult for them to deviate from the right path of the Lord, because we entrust everything to Him.
The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
Psalm 94:11
For the weak-minded, it is very easy to stray from the path that leads to God, and they are easily deceived. That is why it is essential that our minds, souls, and spirits are submitted to the Lord, asking Him daily to strengthen our minds and protect us from all evil.
The best way to keep our minds from evil is to follow God’s ways as His Word instructs, because if we do so, everything will turn out well in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;
13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
Psalm 94:12-13
If God corrects you, it is because He loves you. He is kind and merciful, which is why He left His Word so that through it we can learn every day of our lives.
We who belong to the Lord and carry His Word in our hearts have learned through Him what is good. Even in affliction, He gives us rest. But those who are disobedient will face their moment of reckoning, as their own feet will lead them into the pit because they only focus on earthly things.
For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
Psalm 94:14
God is in control of all things, and we must believe only in Him, for He knows our thoughts. Let us continue to believe and trust that the Lord will help us every day, because He will not abandon His children but will bless them.
