Jesus arrived, get ready

In the Bible we find many miracles performed by Jesus and since childhood we have heard about it, to the point that perhaps many have lost the sensibility of what is written there. They have heard it so much that it doesn’t impress them anymore, but let’s not let such a thing happen to us, we must really be surprised by what is written there, since it is truly sensational.

The Bible tells us of a wonderful miracle, and it is about the paralytic of Bethesda who was 38 years old who could not walk. From time to time an angel descended to the pond that was in that place and there were all kinds of sick people, and the first one who descended to the waters after the movement of the waters was healthy, no matter what his illness was.

We do not know how many times that paralytic tried to be healed in the pond, but the truth is that another always came first than he did when the waters stirred. That man spent years of his life doing things for himself and did not succeed in any way, however, in the midst of his attempts something amazing happened:

6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

John 5:6-9

What time in your life have you fought for something and your effort has not helped? I invite you to look at the story of this paralytic and see how his effort did not work, but Jesus had mercy on him, in the same way God can help us and wants to help us. Let us deposit all that we are in Him and we will have different results.

Jesus at that time Jesus raised that paralytic who was 38 years old without walking. Our Jesus is really great.
