Spiritual food

As believers, our spiritual food is the Word of God, comprised of 66 books essential for knowing Him. There is no substitute for the Word of God.

The author of Hebrews addresses apostasy, emphasizing the importance of spiritual nourishment to avoid deception:

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 5:13-14

These verses admonish the church for needing basic teachings despite their time in faith. We must not be immature in our understanding but strive to deepen our knowledge of Christian truths, studying God’s Word diligently.

Studying the Word provides solid nourishment, protecting us from deception by the enemy and false teachers.
